Oliver S. Milburn
Oliver Milburn made his first feature film as writer/director, The Harsh Light of Day, at the age of 23. This micro-budget indie horror was his university grad project, and went on to secure a limited theatrical and DVD realease in the UK, and DVD/VOD releases in the US and China. Since then he was directed and produced a number of award winning short films, music videos and commercials, as well as consistently writing and developing projects. He has been a documentary cameraman, cinematographer, 1st AD, a visual effects artist, producer, editor and screenwriter, all at a broadcast or cinema level. He brings this wealth of technical skills to his own filmmaking: his most recent projects include the short film Dunroamin, and acting as Producer, DoP and post-production machine on the short film TEDDY2K. Oliver was recently selected and interviewed for the BBC Directorsroom ‘New Directors’ scheme and is currently working as CGI Director on a new Channel 4 drama.
He does not live on a boat.
